Kumar Residence

Description

One of our very initial projects was Mr. Kumar's Residence situated in Uthandi, by Chennai's bustling East coast Road. The site naturally recieved a lot of sea breeze during the evenings and caught a glimpse of the Bay of Bengal.

I was a functional home and spaces which facilitated him tot think and relax. Known for his penchant with birds, especially the pigeons we knew he would instantly love pockets of space to make room for his pets.

We quickly detailed out a design for a 2800 q.foot plan with more than a few shaded balconies' d enough rooms for his kids with parking spaces for two cars.We kept the exteriors minimalist with the pastels, railings and cladding.The pergola shading the car porch remains our personal favorite.
